Mississippi Educational Consortium for the Doctorate of Nursing Practice

The purpose of the Mississippi Educational Consortium for the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (MECDNP) is to support increasing the nursing leadership capacity in Missisippi. The MECDNP fosters statewide academic programs leading to the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Nurse leaders in practice and health care adminstration are essential to address the complex determinants of health in Mississippi. The MECDNP provides networking activites to showcase the evolving role of the DNP professional and their collective impact on sustaining improvements in the long term health of Mississippi's underserved and vunerable populations.
